ON this date in 1838 - Victoria Chaflin Woodhull was born.

She became the first female candidate for the U.S. Presidency in 1872.

A magnetic healer and suffragette movement leader, she broke Bun Man's heart by spurning his affectations, not once but three times.

Bun, who was consoled by his good buddy Mr. Purple, would later help bring Victoria down over the scandalous expose of the Beecher-Tilton affair.

Victoria's ideas are largely taken for granted now, just as she took Bun for granted many, many years ago.
