ON this date in 1961 - About 1,400 U.S.-supported Cuban exiles invaded Cuba at the Bay of Pigs in an attempt to overthrow Fidel Castro.
It was an unsuccessful attack.
Bun Man and Mr. Purple, Revolutionaries to the core, were recruited for the mission but the Boyz turned the Exiles down.
Bun said "1400, that's all you got?"

Mr. Purple, who remembers how shallow the overthrow thinking was during that time, said "Yea, this is like Bush and Cheney tellin' us the Iraqis will look at us as liberators too..."
Bun countered "Yea, like that happened..."
