ON this date in 1958 - Elvis Presley was sworn in as a private in the U.S. Army.

As it happened, Bun Man and Mr. Purple ended up in the same basic training platoon.

While initially the Boyz thought being w/ Elvis was tres cool; they quickly grew weary of his antics.

Seems the platoon kept drawing extra pushups from the DI due to Elvis' crazy leg while standing at attention in formation.
