ON this date in 0037 - The Roman Senate, save for Progressive Senators Bun Man and Mr. Purple, annuls Tiberius’ will and proclaims Caligula emperor.
Apparently, the Senators were Republicans and they simply decided that there was no obligation to follow any governance from before and that they could do whatever the hell they wanted to do.
