The show's producers, Bun Man and Mr. Purple, were skeptical from the start.

When no major networks signed on for the viewings, the Boyz knew their show would be banished to C-Span.

At the time, Bun Man was philosophical, "Hey, I don't even like their commercials, why in the hell would someone want to watch these poseurs live?"

Mr. Purple replied "Politics are always local, Americans seldom bond (or view debates) over national issues..."
