ON this date in 1664 - New Jersey became a British colony.
King Charles II granted land in the New World to his brother James (The Duke of York).
The Duke's first governors were Bun Man and Mr. Purple who saw significant value and character in the land.
The Boyz declared all the women would have 'Big Hair'; they would talk w/ largely I-talian accents; and they would travel in packs.
