ON this date in 1987 - "Physician’s Weekly" announced that the smile on the face of Leonardo DeVinci's Mona Lisa was caused by a "...facial paralysis resulting from a swollen nerve behind the ear."

This was welcomed news for Bun Man.

For years, it had been rumored that Mona Lisa's 'smirk' was due to the fact she saw, Leonardo's assistant, Bun Man frontally exposed just prior to sitting for the portrait and this was why she was smirking.

Mr. Purple told Bun Man, "This clears it up for me too, I always thought there was a lot of truth in that smirk..."

Bun Man picked up his shattered ego and lived to expose another day...
