ON this date in 1938 - The first ski tow started operation in Vermont.

Designed by the engineer team Bun Man and Mr. Purple, the cabled row was working well until Bun's girlfriend got on the chain.

Bun's girl was a BBW and, well, let's just say the added poundage was a little too much to handle.

Bun didn't mind, he returned w/ Big Sal to the chalet, and well, there was a lot to love the rest of the day.

Ski tow improvements would come later...

Certainly later than Bun did!
