ON this date in 2010 - KISS rang the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
The story goes Morgan Stanley brokers Bun Man and Mr. Purple were discussing the growing disparity between most Americans and the 1% who have 95% of America's wealth.
Bun made the comment "We really should be doing something which improves the economic well-being of Americans..."

Whereupon the NYSE Chairman replies, "They can kiss my a$$..."
Taken aback, Bun Man looks at Mr. Purple and says "Let's call Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons and get them to ring the bell...
Kinda Kiss over kiss..."
Mr. Purple chimed in "Greed makes the world go round..."
