Thanks...Seems if you keep at it, you eventually get there.
I was somewhat lucky in an unfortunate way...Serving at the Pentagon and getting Major Generals as your Sr Rater helped get me my O6.
If I had been promoted to Major one year sooner, I would have been in the consideration for a Star, but alas, it didn't happen.
Not sure I would have made it through General 'Charm School'.
