I am sure that he has a plan to "protect" the Jews that voted for him, perhaps by distributing arm bands to Jewish voters so the Gravy Seals can identify "friendlies". A nice gold star of David for Trump Jews, and maybe a blue one for the rest of us. Tell me he isn't going to do this.

Well, they already march out in the open with zero pushback from authorities because of 1A. I mean - they are pretty much loud and proud right now. What WILL happen is that attacks on synagogues and jewish households will increase many fold.

No, the OBVIOUS Hate came out of hiding. The real Hate, the insidious kind, is still underground.

We all know about the redneck with the Back the Blue and Calvin pissing on DEI stickers. We even see the Uncle at family gatherings who gets drunk and swears about "then Damn Illegals".

But we don't recognize the ones who fan those flames. People like Trump draw all the Aggro.

Good question. Some of those people ARE the instigators, but yes those people too. The religious building shooters have always existed, ever since guns. And church burning is practically a competitive sport in parts of the South.
We're starting to see the Racism that's hidden in plain sight. In people who we'd otherwise regarded as "fine, ordinary people".

I’ve seen that my whole life. This is a racist country. It’s been much more out in the open since the orange menace was in the WH. I’ve noticed a lot more of the same, “I’ll say this horrible thing because we’re all white here and that must mean we have the same beliefs.” Smacking that crap down and how to best smack it down is a topic of discussion amongst my friends.
It can always get worse.

That could happen, because there is antisemitism on the right. They hate Muslims more than they hate Jews, that's all. There is also antisemitism on the left, make no doubt about it. But yes, this could make a simmering problem even worse. I hope it doesn't, but I see how it could.

Sorry to inject a little dark humor into this (that's what my people do, no?) but I can think of several Jews I would like to see expelled from this country. Miriam Adelson, Jared Kushner, Stephen Miller, Ben Shapiro, Laura Loomer for starters. "First they came for the self-hating socially destructive Jews and I said nothing because fuck them."

I sometimes feel trapped as an adult passenger in a car.

The car is being driven by a foul-mouthed parent waving a pistol and a liquor bottle, smoking a cigarette. They are not paying attention to the road. They're on the phone.

The kids are screaming in the back seat:

"He won't stay on his side! She keeps touching me! I got exploded with a bomb! Bobby won't stop stealing my meth! Chadworth says all the petroleum is his and won't let us have any!"
