Somebody tell me again how this conflict, now entering it's second century, is about land, a temple, or a desired state. Tell me again that it's not about good old hatred of my people. You know what would happen if the world turned around tomorrow and said "here you go, here's a Palestinian state, rich with fertile soil and the freedom you have always deserved, will you leave the Jews alone now"? I'll give you one guess....

Corrrect. And just to clarify my personal ideology - as a Jewish person, I am not morally bound to Israel. The history of Palestine and its indigenous people is phenomenally confusing and often watered down to justify religious and political violence. One thing I am sure of is that this conflict stopped being about a Palestinian homeland when the British Mandate expired and it became purely about Arab anti-semitism.
