Two weeks since my father went radio silent after articulating fury and "disappointment" in me when I expressed how sad I was that we haven't had a phone call or videochat in six years (he always claims he's too busy).

But I *have* set up a chat with step-cousins and -uncle for this Friday, so... we lean in to the family that wants to show up, eh?

Off for more writing now.

Have a beautiful day, all.

oh dear, familyπŸ™„πŸ˜’πŸ«¨

yes, do remember @Valkyrie_D 's words.

it's hard to find your way to the well when family attitude obstructs the pathway.

it's always already there, waiting to refresh you.

Wise words, holon.

I revisited a lot of past trauma recently in a chat with a friend, and the problem with opening old wounds is that it can trigger a lot of old feelings of helplessness, too.

Those can then grow unchecked, if not properly addressed.

But I'm not helpless here, and the past has no power over me now.

It's time to close those chapters and recenter.

Much obliged for the nudge! πŸ‘Œ

i'm reading Jung, a massive enterprise. read some in the 60s but now it's making so much more sense and relevance. in so many ways.

the well image came up in my I Ching enquiry the other day. it's a useful one. the well remains because of its nature as well, while the village changes and moves around it.

don't tip your bucket when drawing waterπŸ€”out.
