Thank you again, lovely CoSo.
All of July, I was feeling deeply saddened by the decision to put a huge part of my identity to bed - for a while, at least.
When I did this with academia, it broke my heart. & yet... my research skills showed up again in future labours. One day, too, I *will* turn my dissertation into a pop-sci history of stellar evolution in the 19th century.
Similarly, I feel like a weight's been lifted--in novel writing, & in articles.
Life keeps on keepin' on.
We do, too. 💪
@MLClark glad you’re feeling a weight has been lifted. Sometimes we need to hit the pause button on things. Whether it’s a pause or it circles back in some other way, it’s good to take some of that pressure off, though. Good luck.
@MLClark I do thank you for the gift of getting all of your stories in one place before moving on!
I think it's so important not to lock ourselves into one way of doing things, and to remind ourselves of the possibilities. I hope you continue to do what you feel is right for where you're at. 😊
@MLClark Keep trying.
Take it easy, but take it.
