Briefly tuned into Twitter and … wow. There’s no moderation happening anywhere by anyone. I saw some really disturbing stuff like … front page.
I expected Twitter to collapse with Musk at the helm but I couldn’t have predicted the speed of that collapse. I don’t think he can fire enough people to keep up with the number of users and advertisers he’s losing every minute
@serrenity we all mourn our loss of something we've been doing for years. Unfortunately the place we knew there no longer exists and never will again. But, as I spend my time here, I find it to be so much better and no longer miss the bird cage.
@M00dyBlue oh quite - I've been here and there both for years. I loved Twitter for following authors and podcasters. I will miss it for that, but you are right - the thing that I miss is well and good gone now.
@serrenity some of them will find their way here eventually. I miss that as well. We can always share their tweets and posts from other platforms here in the mean time. But, I completely understand what you're saying 💔

Absolutely, what it's going to become deserves to die in fire and brimstone, but ... yeah
