just for fun
years after leaving the band and mostly not playing hardly at all, i got back together with my old guitarist/singer. We would play for 2 hours every Tuesday and did that for about 5 months. It was fun and he was patient as I struggled to get some sense of timing back. We played a bunch of stuff from the band days and other things I'd never heard.
Here's 𝐎𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠. Probably the first time we tried it, going from DNA memory of the Beatles.

Awesome! When I was a kid…long ago and far away… me and my buddies made home movies. We used this song for one of the fight scenes 😂
thanks. We had some funny running through some of the stuff we knew and some stuff we didn't
I recorded each night on a little digital Tascam set on the water heater. But.. erased almost all of it by accident.
@tgraph52
Glad you didn’t erase that little gem. That tascam does a nice job!

It's probably outdated by now but it's a nice recorder... It will do 96k/24bit onto a little sd card... Very versatile. I've made some nice recordings with it and wish I'd had it back in the band days instead of a crappy JVC boombox stuck in some corner of a bar

I have one of those. Never used it.

I originally got it because I had this idea of recording the 10,000 frogs behind my house in the Summer and the cicadas.
I tried that once, but I could not convince the traffic noises to stop long enough to get a really good sample.

We used to live in a house with that same summer serenade feature! Miss that sound!

I used to use it a lot.. I got some nice personal recordings in clubs.
