@Jeber The money isn't there and the people who might run can't self fund a campaign.

@LnzyHou @Jeber Koch bros gave parties a choice years ago - compliance or no more money. Republicans choose compliance. Faces have changed a little but that deal has remained and Democratic party isn't as well heeled are the GOP , which considering who's DIL they put in charge of cookie jar might be well drained by now.
