I think that's a raven, I love Ravens. I address all Ravens as Raul -- male or female. They pair for life and stay together to hunt (a Scavenger hunt, really) during the day. They are smart as heck and learn fast. They will take your jewelry, open zippered bags and take your shiny things. I only one time ever saw them actually hunt they dove on a rabbit on a riverbank like a hawk. I had never seen that before. I think they learned that too. 🐦⬛

Last fall I was van camping at Cumberland Falls KY. I stayed an extra day after Moonbow weekend.
There was much squawking by large black birds I assumed were raven (close up of their beaks says crow).
In pairs, they watched the rigs pack up and leave. Then they’d scour the whole site picking up anything they found to eat. The communication was non-stop between them.
I watched for over an hour as they cleaned up the park. Space by space.
Fascinating.
@LnzyHou @FireMonkey @DJNoneYa Both are very intelligent birds. Lots of studies have been done testing problem solving ability of crows. Both recognize specific people and both have nee known to exhibit gifting behaviors.
