@BFBucky1 Just call them round bales. I think the only ones that use the smaller square bales are local horse owners.
@LotSixteen Growing up in Amish country I have seen agriculture change over the years. The Amish still use bailers but drawn by horses!

In the 1000 degree hay loft. Ugh! 😩 But I thought it was great fun.
@allin @LotSixteen Then there was throwing the bales down to feed cows, cattle and horses in our case. My uncle used horses and a tractor on a small farm.
@LotSixteen I guess it is hay bailing season. I grew up in New Holland and those are funny looking hay bails. What do you call those, hay rolls? I do recall throwing bails up in the hay loft! 🧑🌾
