So, which are the best shelf stable purchases for winter pantry stock up? In your opinion? I wanna hibernate for the season and would like to reduce as many shopping instances as possible.

Mostly anything on the grocery shelves are good from 6mos to a year, so I wouldn't worry. Freezer stuff only 30 days unless you have a separate manual defrost freezer that you can set to 0°F or lower. Ensure food is wrapped well and can last indefinitely. Refrigerator freezers only 30 days.

Should add anything that comes in boxes or paper bags need to be put in containers or whole container in a ziplock bag. Salt, pancake mix, flour etc. The cardboard will collect humidity, cause mold. Salt won't mold but the boxes will fall apart.
