I'm trying to learn Spanish. It's a humbling experience to talk with native speakers. And the Latinos I work with are way more gracious that most Americans I've seen.

Try picking some spanish language movies with English subtitles. YouTube possibly. Slow the movie down a bit so you can hear the enunciations. Subtitles not 100% accurate, but you'll get the gist. You'll get to learn some fun phrases that you may or may not be able to use in real life...like "is this the coach to Dracula's castle?" There is a Spanish version of original Dracula filmed after daytime shots were done.
