@poemblaze Oh Lord, you missed the drama? Reader's digest version: I had a severe allergic reaction to my BP meds. Everything in my mouth swelled up. If I'd waited any longer to go to the ER my air passages would have been cut off.
@LiberalLibrarian So glad you're doing better! I assume a different BP med is in your future.
@poemblaze In my present. They immediately discontinued it. I'm on Norvasc now. 1% of all users of ace inhibitors like Lisinopril, which is what I used, have that reaction. The fucked up thing is that you can take it for 5 years, like I had, and have no problems, and then one day BAM.
