Still taking a break, but I thought I'd hop on to regale you with my latest health travesty.
Last night I accidentally bit my tongue. No biggie, right? Wrong. Two hours later my tongue was swollen. Two hours after that I tell my wife to take me to the ER. By then everything in my mouth was swollen. Then I was admitted to a room for observation. They think that my Lisinopril is what caused the swelling from the bite. So, change of BP meds, and I'm going home now after dinner.
@LiberalLibrarian Whoooa. That’s bananapants! That stuff made me dry hack constantly like a two pack a day smoker. My doc was all “Oh yeah. The Pril cough. It happens.” That is wild, but I’m glad they’re fixing you up.
@Avalea @LiberalLibrarian I had the cough on lisinopril. As soon as I mentioned ir to my doc he moved me to another med.
@SimplyZippy @LiberalLibrarian Yep! Same. Knew immediately what it was. Such a weird side effect!
@Avalea the doctor was way more concerned than I was.
@SimplyZippy @Avalea Again, it's only hitting me now that I could very well have unalived myself if I hadn't gone to the ER.
