Hello all.

Still taking a break, but I thought I'd hop on to regale you with my latest health travesty.

Last night I accidentally bit my tongue. No biggie, right? Wrong. Two hours later my tongue was swollen. Two hours after that I tell my wife to take me to the ER. By then everything in my mouth was swollen. Then I was admitted to a room for observation. They think that my Lisinopril is what caused the swelling from the bite. So, change of BP meds, and I'm going home now after dinner.

@LiberalLibrarian

Have you been on it long ( I just picked my rx up - same med ) going to be super careful not to bite my tongue. I'm freaked out for you!

@KazzyH It's very rare for this to happen. I just pulled the short straw.

@KazzyH But yes, you should definitely talk to your doctor about the risks of ace inhibitors and angioedema.

@LiberalLibrarian

I've been on it for years and we always discuss possibilities. I wish I could get away with nothing.
