OK, that's cute. I just saw two teenage boys walking out of the library, and one had his arm around the other's shoulder. I don't think they were gay, but just showing affection. More men need to do that.
My uncle, married an Italian woman he met while station there in World War II, eventually he brought her entire extended family to Ohio. Every man in the family kissed each other as a greeting. Hugged each other often, and the boys ran around holding hands.

@LiberalLibrarian In the UK, it was commonplace for men to walk arm in arm until legislation was passed criminalising homosexuality, meaning that public displays of affection between men, even straight men, stopped almost immediately due to fear of prosecution.
How awfully sad is that?
