But lots of medium quakes really should make a huge one less likely...

we had wildfires during covid ... trying to help people and animals evacuate in the middle of that was crazy.. then the concern for mudslides.. and earthquakes, as well. then there were something liek 11 atmospheric rivers in January this year.. California has had a rough few years.
