One of the major differences between Barcelona and L.A.: on every block you can find a little pharmacy. No big chains like CVS. I think that's so awesome.

But Boston has the same pharmacy chains LA has.
@RationalLeft And the anti nausea medicine I got was a prescription. So here pharmacists can prescribe. So civilized.
@LiberalLibrarian A qualified pharmacist knows as much about meds as a doctor or NP does, so it does undeniably make sense.
@LiberalLibrarian and those pharmacists probably have super powers compared to ours. I.e. can prescribe.
