Somebody actually said "thoughts and prayers" on my wife's FB post announcing the death of her father.

Be proud of me. I didn't unload on them for that. Condolences are nice. Saying you're going to pray for us, well ok, whatever makes you feel better about yourself. Thoughts and prayers? Garbage words.

I'm embittered about it.
