If you keep leaving reviews on YA books saying the characters seem immature and childish... maybe stop reading books about kids? There's an amazing range of books written with adult characters who act like adults. If the teenage heroes in YA books aren't mature enough for you, try not reading YA.
@Tattoomonkey29 It feels obvious, doesn't it?
And yet I keep finding YA books marked with bad reviews because the teenage characters were written as teens and the plots seem simplistic.
@LianaBrooks Some people just need to be negative at any opportunity ,I don't get it at all :/
@Tattoomonkey29 Some people don't want to admit that not everything in the world is created for them. The sooner they figure it out, the sooner they'll have peace.
@LianaBrooks Right and I often read teen books just for the simplicity , especially when my daughter and her friends were into books I totally loved the Pretties series ! I'm the same with music ,I listen to everything from classical to hard rock..
@Tattoomonkey29 I read just about everything. And I mislike the reviews claiming a YA book has teen characters who act like teens.
@LianaBrooks Absolutely ! Considering the amount of people complaining that kids are being "groomed" , over sexualized and growing up too fast you'd think there'd be more appreciation of teens just being normal teens ! I think it's better for them to read about characters they can relate to.
@LianaBrooks Makes perfect sense to me!
