One of the reasons we moved to Korea was it is cheaper to live over here. Our employee covers the housing for overseas workers and our healthcare is also company-provided. We get paid USD but shop in Korea, and the exchange rate is very much in our favor.

But I won't be debt free forever.

@LianaBrooks We're never really debt free, but we're never in debt for more than one major purchase being paid for. The current loan we're paying is my wife's car, and that's almost done. We also put most of our monthly living expenses on a couple of cards and pay them off every month. Does wonders for the credit score and collecting 'points'.

@MakerWerks I tried that and I'm not good with a credit card. But we do travel a lot for work, so I put travel on the credit card.
