@mcfate For me it was a wonderful place to connect with other people who shared my disability, grow a fan base for my writing, and chat with friends who worked in countries around the world. I had a well-curated feed and loved it.
Well, you had a good experience. For a lot of people, though, the difference between then and now is one of degree, not of kind.
@mcfate Twitter worked great for my ADHD. I could get fresh dopamine hits, follow all my interests, and was able to make a living promoting my books there. I did use Tweetdeck extensively and was careful with who I followed. But it worked and I had a good time.
