What I liked about Twitter is that it did a decent job of getting news from around the world.
I followed scientists from all over, caught up on world news, kept an eye on publishing, and chatted with friends from everywhere... and now I can't.
@LianaBrooks Most of my follows migrated to BlueSky. Not all, and YMMV, but better than nothing, which is better than X.
