I am dismayed to report that merely having the glass of water on your desk will not, in fact, hydrate you. To hydrate you literally need to pick up the glass and drink the water.

@NorthernInvader We have been running this experiment for a number of years and have the data on hand. The grant is going to cover the cost of submitting to our team's preferred journal and to keep it open access.
@NorthernInvader If the funding goes through, I'd also like to expand our research. So far we've successfully tested in Canada, various parts of the USA, and Republic of Korea. We're hoping to try a nice tropical, beach-ish location for the next round of testing.
