In what year was the earliest born person you've met/seen and remember born?

For example, I was born in the mid 1960s. It's possible I was seen by a relative who died in August of that year at age 100, but I don't remember it. Doesn't count.

My grade school had us meet with the nuns who lived in the convent house next door. The one I met was 92 when I met her in 1978. So born in 1886. I did see a hundred year old man wave from a Model T in a 1984 parade, but was a bit far away.
