The next all plaque project

One of the reasons I travel is social anxiety. Sometimes it becomes so crippling the longer I stay in one place that if I go out I can't make eye contact or interact with anyone in any way. I've been around the same town for 4 months. Now time to move on

Hibernating for the winter

At Avebury stone circle there are beach trees on a small hill with the roots exposed. It's so beautiful it's my next sculpting project. Sacred sites are going to be the main themes of my work from now on.

About 6 weeks ago I constructed a 13" x 11" detailed goddess wall plaque from air dry clay and made a mould. Today I cast the first piece in plaster. Apart from 1 air bubble impression which can be fixed it's perfect. It's heavier than I thought so need a sturdy easel to paint her. Onwards and upwards #art #sculpture #pagan #goddess

When you downsize, then downsize again and keep downsizing until you become a minimalist and only have to work 2 days a week to pay the bills you end up being able to live.
