@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine Jiu jitsu does submissions...which can be choking the life out of someone (until they tap). Adams apple doesn't always sit nice against the elbow crook.
@L_D_G Oh! I have done jitz but then, i don't have an Adam's apple! 😜 also i tap pretty damn quick.
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine I'm not sure what causes them in this case...it's really just residual pain that ends up landing as a headache. Sparring partner said he takes ibuprofen before class! (Body doesn't do preventative care for headaches like that).
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine Shrimping? Yeah...our classes start with three versions...then forward and backwards rolls...then cartwheels...then the animal drills: bear, crab, monkey, and duck...THEN push-ups, sit ups, squat thrusts. I'm usually dripping in time for drills. That's the first 15 minutes of our 45 minute classes.
@L_D_G huh. Do you do those drills where you you roll balanced just on the back of your head and your heels thatcstrengthen neck muscles? I forget what they're called. Man those give me a headache! That can not be fun.
