Put simply, you can't. In order to serve notifications to your device, we'd have to remain connected to it at all times. That's kind of creepy if you really think about it, so we don't do that here. #CoSoTips
The CounterSocial Notifications column provides two options: All and Mentions. Check your mentions when you reconnect to catch up on anything you might've missed.
It's a core feature of this place. We don't bother you when you're away, and we're here at your convenience. #CoSoTips
