Walking around the local fair this morning. Enjoying people watching.
Overheard two ladies complaining about how the quilts were done using sewing machines and not the old fashioned way.
@Kurtroedeger ask them if they still harness their horses to a cart to go get supplies...
@Kurtroedeger even the Amish use a treadle sewing machine to quilt!

Can't fix that.
The quilts are gorgeous though. Even with a machine they put a lot of time and effort into them.
@Kurtroedeger sewing machines make it so much easier & faster to do more interesting things with fabric. the complaining always sounds a bit like jealousy to me
