If you have too much fruit to eat before it goes bad, make some cheong with it. Equal parts chopped up fruit and sugar by weight, layer them and make sure sugar is on last layer, fridge it for a couple weeks then strain out. It makes a fresh tasting fruit simple syrup. Drizzle over pancakes or waffles, add to some seltzer water for a fresh soda. Plus more options. I just put pear and banana cheong into jars.
