I keep getting emergency alerts for bad snow squalls on my phone, but look out at clear blue skies.

So I went outside and got a better view of further off. The hills that make our valley is diverting the weather around us. I can see the squalls in the north, the west, and the south of us at the limits of the valley. We got 2" of snow overnight and this morning. The north side of the hills 15 minute drive got over 12" and still snowing.
