Doggos got baths today, and I out this old comforter across the couch because they like to do damp dog wiggles all over the furniture when I get them out of the tub. Duke turned it into his own personal nest.

I told him I wanted to lay on the couch and he spread out more and gave me side eye.

@Kurtroedeger Duke is like, "You sir, put me through 'bath trauma' and i need more time with my blankie to console myself. Be off with you!'

@Christmas_Snow it is very much that. Clark for a bit was standing in the middle of the room just staring at me. Like 'BETRAYAL!!!!'

Clark needs to be carried up and set in the tub, Gunner will accept being led by the collar. Duke is resigned and I can point the way up and he goes, but not before trying every detour possible so it's usually a 2 person job to block possible exits, but he does go and hops in the tub on his own.

@Kurtroedeger It's funny how they have their personalities about it. I used to have to grab Seamus and do him first because once he caught on, i could never catch him otherwise. In the tub he'd give me a sad look, and when i blow dried him he'd rub his head on my shirt (as if to say, 'How do YOU like getting all wet?!'). When i let him go, he'd get after bath zoomies. With Farley, he'd figure it out from Seamus and hide. In the tub, he needed me to tell him what a good boy he was and hugs. He

@Kurtroedeger loved the hairdryer though! He'd sit there and let me get him dry, then go out of the bathroom (by then Seamus was on the other side of the door) and they'd 'zoom' together. Then i'd get them each a treat for being good boys, and after that they'd have a nap (often together, especially when they were little). 🙂
