@nova @estherschindler BUT I USE IT ALLLLL THE TIME!!!!
It's standard on engineering drawings to have all text in caps for legibility after multiple photocopy rounds, and even with bad handwriting it is easier to discern so it's just the way it's been done for a long time. I now write in pen caps normally. Which bugs the hell out of my school teacher wife.

And yes, photocopy is a problem, but it's not me doing it.
