I believe this is the Griffin case being discussed by #SCOTUS.
This is the U.S. Term Limits v. Thornton case #SCOTUS is discussing now.
It was already settled that it was an insurrection.
This hearing is if the President is an officer. And the state Colorado constitution has the ability to remove a candidate based on its ruling on #14thAmendment Sec 3
There was a lot of noise on this that was just BS
Because Trump is trying the case in the court of public opinion like he always does.
If they tried to challenge the insurrection ruling it ciuld be devastating for so many other cases
@Kinnison My point is that #Trump has been running around claiming he didn't commit insurrection, and his MAGA members in Congress have been claiming there was no insurrection. (A "peaceful protest.")
So if it was a "peaceful protest" and not insurrection, why isn't Trump's attorney arguing that?
