It is possible, but a.) They're not creating a AI, they're creating a chatty and nuance search engine (YAWN) and b.) They don't want to do it the right way and cite where they're stripping language from.
If I want to learn something I have to pay college tuition (i.e., the professors who've spent vast amounts of money and lifetimes on becoming experts in their fields) , I have to pay for all the textbooks and materials needed.
OpenAI doesn't think it has to pay diddly-squat.
