That one time I kinda met Mitt

I was at a competitive event in Salt Lake City at the Olympic Oval in 2018. The Event organizer invited Mitt Romney who at the time was in a run off primary for Senate.

He of course was late, and we had to sit around in bleachers as he gave a speech about the history of the Oval that you can find on the website. it was boring He had an entourage of 5 people, including a boom mic operator, video, photo, social media, and staffer (1/2)

When the events opening ceremony happened we filed past him and he ignored us as he was talking to someone else at his side. All we got was maybe eye contact and a head nod with his arms crossed. Really felt disrespectful.

My gut feeling is he was more concerned about himself and how he looked. He was there because he needed the support of the event organizer to help him get elected

he had no empathy, he was just playing a character he created, and was no John McCain

only wants power and to protect the donor class>

no Medicaid for all, No Green new deal, and No State hood for DC and Puerto Rico

They need to be all voted out

@Kinnison I'm excited for McKay Coppins book. Romney is one of the few Republicans I can tolerate despite his FLDS affiliation. His gossip is going to be great, especially with him announcing he's retiring.
