on the day of the illegal searches that 'there is not a probable cause affidavit filed.'
While the affidavits purport to be signed before Magistrate Viar on the day of the illegal searches, no explanation has been provided why they were not filed prior to the execution of the illegal searches."
so the Police chief asked for a search warrant without filing an affidavit? and the Judge signed off on it?
THIS IS NOT LEGAL!

@Kinnison With a true statement like that, it's no surprise that she didn't survive the encounter.
The police won't police themselves, but they silenced someone who would continue to cause them trouble.
@Kinnison That and a buck fifty will get you a cup of coffee. The government will need to step in before those people care. Threat of arrest and/major monetary type fines are the only thing they pay attention to, and even those don’t stop them because so far no one has forced them to comply.
oh, believe me, the DOJ and the KS DA are already investigating. Clear violation of journalistic rights, and even a possible wrongful death
might take a year, but I can see the Police, Judge and the Restaurant owner facing jail time and fines by the end of this
@Kinnison I hope you’re right. One of them needs to be held accountable for their criminal behavior. I want to see some punishment!
@Kinnison
Sue them.
Sue them all.
Sue them to the point they can't afford to take sip of water without getting permission.
@Kinnison time to sue for the entire police and municipal budget. If those jack-booted morons can’t uphold the First Amendment, what can they be trusted to do? Shut them down and deny unemployment.
@Kinnison they accomplished what they snd the dui bitch was after! Only in a Nazi red state would something like this go down! Did floriDUHs DeSatan school them?
@Kinnison Some people are not at all familiar with the phrase "due process".
@Kinnison And it looks like the police chief and judge both had some dirty laundry that looks to have been suppressed by nefarious means.
@Kinnison Only suspended? I hope everyone involved rots in hell
@Kinnison
This raid has some insane back story, and it gets weirder with every revelation. That's a whack town.
@Kinnison As far as I am concerned, the only question that needs to be answered is when the police chief and the magistrate judge resign.
