Does the writing/acting get better with Babylon 5? With 5 seasons, I would hope so…

Only 3 episodes in (which is like 5 hours thanks to that feature film length pilot) and most of the leads are pretty wooden.

@Smersh First Season is hit or miss. The acting is sub-par. Focus on the story. The writing is amazing, even if the actors have trouble delivering it. By Episode 20 ("Babylon Squared") you will be hooked, and you will only need the front edge of your seat by the end of season 2

@Kinnison

This is what I’ve heard from a lot of folks who have watched it/raved about it but was surprised by the acting! I’m definitely going to keep giving it a try as the story lines so far aren’t bad.

Also it’s wrinkling my brain that Delenn is Danielle Rousseau.

@Smersh The acting gets better. Especially in season 2 (OMG Bruce Boxleitner) when the casts starts to Gel, feed off eachother and get invested in the stories.
