I needed a laugh and Megyn Kelly basking in the sound of someone saying the N word like it is her white noise app she falls asleep to didn't hit it.
My co-worker is destroying me. Last exchange.
Her: can you send me the link to the secure browser we use for that app.
Me: Open the app and click on the instructions.
Her: I know. IT didn't install the app.
Me: You are supposed to install it.
Her: I know. Ann was supposed to help me.
Me: . . .sends location of app.
Her: okay. I'll try that.
I was working a temp job for something to do after retirement. One morning the full timers were mad at IT because a software update they ran broke the email server. Ummm, no, you just need a new shortcut.
I spent the next hour creating shortcuts as one person at a time they logged into the network so I could change their shortcuts.
My IT hero moment. When everyone was done they called the help desk and cancelled the work order.
