We've had very limited hummingbird activity this year but in an interesting twist there are some finches learning to get a drink from the hummingbird feeder.

My sister listed her house last week. So far, zero showings and no offers. She came home today and the water heater is leaking out the bottom.

Her stress level is pretty high.

My dog is crazy for candy canes/peppermint sticks. When the wife is snacking on one the dog is right on her, wanting her share. Strange behavior?

The SCOTUS is complicit in aiding him. They could have decided this in December. 4 months gone, a decision won't be out for another 2 months. Likely sent back to Chutkan for further analysis and an appeal of that decision. 🤬😡🤡

I saw a news release that you were not running for re-election. I agree that congress is very turbulent right now. Other than the foreign aide votes the speaker is about to bring to the floor I don't think much will happen the rest of the year. May as well resign soon and get on with the rest of your life which I am sure will be constructive and fruitful.

Tree guy doing tree guy stuff. 70+ feet tall and split down the middle and wind gusts up to 25 mph.

The wind is starting to ease a little bit and should drop below 15 mph in two hours. I would have bet against it surviving 38 mph wind gusts.

This is my next door neighbors tree. The tree is over 70 feet tall. The part on the left will likely fall in my yard unless the tree hangs on until Saturday when it will be cut down. Today the wind will increase to 25 with gusts to 40 mph.

We had clear sky for seeing the partial (here) eclipse. 87% according to NASA. Hope wherever you are you get to see this one or the next.
