So the Saudis have been sucking water from one of our driest states--Arizona--to grow a water-intensive crop to feed their beef cattle. What's wrong with this picture? https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/07/16/fondomonte-arizona-drought-saudi-farm-water/
@KDKeenan the saudi's can spend a trillion bucks without feeling it! Nothing like cash to make politicians happy. Prob. give everyone $5 to keep them quiet and buying bottled water.

Yup - been going on for a long time. I guess the Saudis don't have enough water back home.
Maybe we should simply raise the price of our *commercial* use water - a LOT. 🤷
It would also impact those municipal supplies being sucked dry by Coke and Pepsi for Aquafina and Desani.
